The HRIS Analyst is an expert in the development, optimization, and maintenance of the People Strategies and Solutions (PSS)/Human Resources (HR) systems supported by the People Technology team at UWCU. The analyst translates business objectives into technical system requirements to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the user experience with the UWCU and PSS/HR systems. The analyst is responsible for identifying, implementing, and prioritizing PSS/HR system upgrades, new system solutions, data flows, and integrations in collaboration with subject matter experts within the PSS team, IT, and operational stakeholders to meet business needs. This role will have an impact on improving the employee experience through technology, digital, and initiatives.

Assist with the development of HR data analytics by leveraging systems, reporting tools, data sources, and dashboards to deliver actionable data reports to inform stakeholders making business decision.
Gather requirements and recommends prioritization across multiple stakeholders within a project portfolio to implement enhancements, improvements, and data schemas to continuously improve reporting and dashboards.
Coordinate the reporting functions within the People Technology team to create custom reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
Develop processes to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into or out of PSS/HR systems, using approved tools to comply with governance and at the same time optimize data flows.
Manage and ensure the quality of HR data, performing regular audits, resolving discrepancies, and determining root cause analysis for process improvement to sustain data quality. Ensure the PSS/HR systems and data flows to other systems comply with data privacy regulations and security standards.
Implement and maintain appropriate access controls, user permissions, and data protection measures for reporting and analytics tools.
Catalog all ongoing and scheduled reports in the People Operations employee data management catalog.
Serve as the IT liaison and subject matter expert across all PSS/HR platforms to manage configuration, end-user access, security, and technical requirements by following established protocols and governance practices to ensure data integrity.
Create or contribute to project planning and agile methodology to complete improvements, initiatives, and projects on the PSS/HR technology roadmap.
Develop collaborative relationships with IT, accounting, external partners, and various operational teams to design, develop, and deliver system solutions that satisfy business requirements.
Coordinate the IT full life cycle of PSS/HR systems through a technology roadmap, and the associated project planning.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, integrations, and workflows related to projects and initiatives.
Compose effective project communications to stakeholders and users with knowledgeable and helpful persona to establish trust and credibility.
Create user guides and training materials to facilitate user adoption and knowledge sharing.

Advanced knowledge of HR systems database schemas, design, structure, functions, and processes.
