Overview

UW Credit Union is hiring a Branch Manager for our Oshkosh Campus Branch!

As a Branch Manager, you’ll demonstrate high emotional intelligence, recognizing and responding to the emotions and needs of others while providing effective coaching and development opportunities for your team. You’ll encourage continuous learning and professional growth, empowering your team to achieve their full potential. Your leadership will inspire your team to cultivate meaningful relationships with members, uncover their true financial needs, and make recommendations that help them achieve their financial dreams.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Guide and support team members through coaching, mentorship, skill-building opportunities.
  • Lead by example to meet branch and company objectives.
  • Foster an environment that consistently upholds our Branch Service Philosophy standards.
  • Drive balanced scorecard results in line with our Members for Life Sales and Service Philosophy.
  • Adapt effectively to evolving organizational priorities, reallocating resources as needed for optimal results.
  • Participate in project work aligning with business initiatives and strategies.
  • Take ownership and exceed expectations to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Promote cultural competence by creating a welcoming environment that prioritizes humanity.
  • Develop and empower a highly engaged staff, as reflected in annual employee engagement surveys.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in business Admin, Finance, Marketing or related field required (or equivalent relevant work experience).
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a managerial capacity in a financial industry required – OR- an experiential equivalency of at least 3 years’ experience in a managerial capacity outside of the financial industry.
  • 4-5 years’ additional experience in Financial Services or Retail Sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and develop staff.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and lead complex operations including the lending process, member services and teller operations.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, outstanding ability to influence and build relationships, and creative problem-solving skills.
