Overview

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and well-organized student to join our marketing team as our Social Media and Brand Marketing Intern! Are you a student looking to gain experience in the marketing industry? Are you passionate about developing meaningful content and enjoy working on a collaborative team? In this role, you will perform meaningful creative work alongside a team of top-notch marketing professionals for one of the largest financial institutions in Wisconsin. This is a great opportunity to develop your marketing skills with an organization driven by higher purpose!


This is a year-long internship with an anticipated start date of March 2025. This position will be approximately 15-20 hours per week during the school semester for one year. 40 hours per week during the summer.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute marketing approaches for on-campus acquisition tactics (experiential, in-branch, digital/social)
  • Support staff at various locations, including campuses, branches, and community events
  • Develop content ideas for primary social channels
  • Assist in producing content (writing, photographing, recording, designing)
  • Monitor feedback on social media, responding as appropriate
  • Review and report on content impact
  • Conduct competitive research to identify opportunities
  • Assist as needed on a wide variety of marketing and communications projects
  • Route content for review with internal and/or external partners on assigned projects
  • Solicit and produce content for employee-facing channels

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • At least three semesters of completed college coursework in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience working collaboratively with a diverse team (professional work, club, class project, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and autonomy in establishing priorities, completing assignments and project, and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
