UW Credit Union is growing and hiring a Full-Time Teller to join our soon to open Cottage Grove branch.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Welcome and assist members at our Cottage Grove Road branch, representing UW Credit Union.
  • Strive to meet performance goals in line with our Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
  • Keep a good understanding of all UW Credit Union products and services.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient handling of member requests at the Teller line.
  • Follow UW Credit Union's Cash Management policies and procedures.
  • Investigate potential errors in Teller transactions and communicate with affected members.
  • Build relationships with members, understand their needs, offer recommendations, and make referrals when appropriate.
  • Look for ways to exceed our members' expectations.
  • Work with your branch team to address member and branch needs.

Qualifications

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Confidence with cash handling and transactions
  • Demonstrates ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional skills
  • Team player that can confidently jump in where and when you are needed
  • Ability to work in an autonomous environment

Important Information to Know

  • Schedule: 40 hours a week with availability Monday- Friday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm and 6 Saturdays per quarter between 8:30 am and 1:30 pm
