  • Overview

    UW Credit Union’s Internet Services development team is growing and hiring for an eCommerce Development Manager! In this role, you will oversee the digital delivery operations and management of the project resources and project planning for the department. Reporting to the Vice President of E-Commerce, you will lead and work along-side highly-skilled developers in a team-oriented environment as we design and develop applications to help UW Credit Union remain one of Wisconsin’s top financial institutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Guide the continual development of operational related activities, and participate in the continual innovation of processes, programs and services.
    • Utilize Agile methodologies to manage the full life-cycle development of projects.
    • Collaborate with Internet Services Leadership to provide alignment to the Internet Services team across all tracks, including operations, product management, user experience, quality assurance, development operations and engineering.
    • Guide the technical development of the Internet Services development team by ensuring proper coding methodologies are being used.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on business initiative projects and ensure the effective coordination of resources across credit union business units.
    • Responsible for leading and supporting a staff of highly engaged employees. Possess a commitment to the excellence of others through actions that support growth and development that optimizes the talent of individual team members.

    Qualifications

    • 8+ years’ experience in web development and E-Commerce web site management.
    • 4+ years’ experience managing/coaching developers.
    • Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Management or related field.
    • Experience with sophisticated and complex internet security and compliance.
    • Highly innovative, creative, and able to articulate strategic direction.
    • Expertise in research, analysis, problem solving, design and delivery of Web-based solutions.
    • Experience in large scale enterprise-wide projects.
    • Familiarity with C#, ASP.Net, SQL and SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other web technologies such as PHP, Python, Ruby, or Java.
    • Agile project management methodology experience is preferred.
