Why join Investment Services at UW Credit Union?

    • We put our members’ best interests first. We don’t sell house brands, proprietary securities or a parent company’s insurance products.
    • We’re focused on building a portfolio that addresses members’ needs, not leveraging privately run funds designed for someone else’s profit.
    • Our broker, LPL Financial, engages in fair and ethical practices. Any products offered are purchased from market sources, not our own portfolio, making our recommendations objective and conflict-free. Our staff’s advice is not influenced by external compensation factors or corporate quotas.
    • We believe in being a caring partner, which doesn’t happen with an aggressive sales pitch.
    • As a recognized brand in Dane County, Financial Consultants enjoy marketing support, administrative support, professional growth and development at no cost to them.
    • Financial support to help with professional licensing and certifications.
    • Incentive compensation rewards for developing fee-based business that is in the best interest of our members.

    • Understand the client’s current financial circumstances, means, risk tolerance, needs, and objectives.
    • Identify and recommend the appropriate solution in a compelling way so the client sees the value while understanding the features and benefits.
    • Analyze financial information obtained from clients to determine strategies for meeting their financial and insurance needs.
    • Develop and deliver Financial Plans, making a direct connection between the plan and the recommended strategies.
    • Create opportunities to deepen client relationships through regular, ongoing account reviews and re-evaluation of needs at established intervals.
